Workspace reservation

Simplify the workspace reservation process with Power Apps!
This is especially true for companies that have flexible work schedules (such as software development companies).
This solution allows you to avoid schedules in Excel spreadsheets and make everyone see the latest information on both your computer and mobile phone screen.

In order to facilitate the user interface, an office plan with a visual representation of vacancies was used: 1) green – means a vacancy during the selected period; 2) yellow – partially occupied space; 3) red – blocked workplace.

When choosing a workspace, the user specifies the date and time, so colleagues can easily view other employees’ scheduled times. In addition, the program administrator can block a particular workspace for the entire day if, for example, repairs are scheduled or an all-day meeting is in progress.

The relevance of this decision has been exacerbated in particular by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, as there has been a need to keep the workspace reservation history for contact tracing and the possibility for employees to reserve the workspace remotely.
